EvDaDaDec

Or something like that. That title may not flow “trippingly from the tongue”, but it’s my major blog announcement.

Now I’ve noticed November is the month for bloggers to post everyday. There’s NaNoWriMo, NaPoBloMe, NaNoPotato, NaNoNaNo and all that kind of crap. But over here on T of V, we don’t play by others’ rules. We make our own.

In the interests of getting fully behind this blog of mine, and treating it as a vocation more than a hobby, I’ve decided to post every day. At least for a month. Therefore, I’m inaugurating

EveryDamnDayDecember.

And it’s just what it says: throughout the month of December, IΒ  am going to post something every damn day. That is a promise. We’re not going to cheat either. I’m not changing the format to a photo blog. I’m not going to post haikus all of a sudden and call it a damn day. I may rely on daily prompts a little bit, but I think I can do this shit. Because I want this blog to succeed and I want to feel more like a real blogger.

So you are warned.

EveryDamnDayDecember

is almost upon us.

I challenge you to read Every Damn Day.

  1. Saw you over at Rara’s and wanted to drop by. Dylan, you make me laugh and I salute you for EvDaDaDec! I shall make a point to read you for the next 31 days. Grin. Onward! Best ~ HuntMode

  2. Okay, I’m in, but I have nothing to do and no one to take care of and I don’t do holidays, so I hope I can find the time! Don’t hate me because I have no life:>) I’m going to up the ante and try to make my posts short stories or writerly info.
Starting now! Will copy this to the Dailey dude, then reblog from Charles, since that is how I found this. K? K! (posted on LindaGill’s blog)

  5. I didn’t know it could pingback by just listing your blog at the bottom of the post. Awesome. So, Sir Dylan, is this what you had in mind? We must think for ourselves and link it to you as indubitable proof we are posting Every Damn Day In December. πŸ˜€

  7. I know this sounds wishy/washy for such a strong challenge, but I’m in. But in a limited way. I’ll post every day and try to support as many others who are as I can. πŸ™‚

  16. Lol, good luck with this Dylan πŸ˜‰ I have enough problems with ideas for two posts each week, but I’m not a writer.
Will you be making any New Year Resolutions? Just thought I’d give you a post idea πŸ˜‰

    • I appreciate all the ideas I can borrow! It’s not really the writing everyday that’s the hard part, but keeping the quality up. That’s why I’ve been biding my time on this blog. But I just thought it’s finally time to get behind it more. Thanks so much for being a regular reader! Stay tuned on that Resolutions thing. I’ve got something in mind….

  18. This is hilarious. I love that you’ve probably just started a phenomenon in the blogging community. I did a 30-day challenge from mid September to mid October and it was pretty damn hard. Good luck with this one and I’ll be reading!
